Er war eine der bedeutendsten kulturellen und intellektuellen Persönlichkeiten Mitteleuropas im frühen 18. Jahrhundert. Yves de Paris (1588-1687) war ein Kapuzinertheologe, Humanist und geistlicher Schriftsteller. In seinen moralischen Schriften erweist sich Yves als Molinist, indem er die Zusammenarbeit der menschlichen Freiheit mit der göttlichen Gnade betont. - Papierbedingt gebräunt und teils etwas fleckig. He was one of the most important cultural and intellectual figures in Central Europe in the early 18th century. Yves de Paris (1588-1687) was a Capuchin theologian, humanist and spiritual writer. In his moral writings Yves proves to be a Molinist, emphasising the cooperation of human freedom with divine grace. - Paper browned and partly somewhat stained. Good copy in decorative binding.
