Art Deco Bronze Sculpture by Colinet
Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (1880-1950) "Theban Dancer" h. 1925 Gilt, silver and painted bronze sculpture. With a marble base with a bronze front frieze with Egyptian decoration. Colinet, born in Belgium, works in France during the first half of the 20th century. Her most recurring theme was Arab dancers, it can be said that she was the creator of the theme of oriental dancers in Art Deco. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris for almost 30 years. Measurements: 55.5 x 20 x 58 cm
