View, drawn in 1833 by Lewis and engraved by himself in 1835, on dye stone, for his work: "Sketches of Spain & Spanish Character...". On the left, the Church of Buen Suceso. In the centre, the Mariblanca fountain (now in the Museum of History of Madrid), with water carriers filling their buckets. Only the Casa de Correos was saved from the renovation. .
