A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK the brass case with reeded Corinthian corner columns enclosing an enamel dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day spring-driven movement with originally compensated lever escapement striking and repeating on a gong. The back plate is stamped "EGL, Paris". (18cm high including handle )
