Tempera painting on chalk ground and wood, Kowtscheg, inset wooden panel in composite. Depiction of Christ Pantocrator. Silver oklad in relief with polychrome enamel in cloisonné decoration with stylized flowers, chased and finely engraved, with fineness mark "84" Zolotniki, inspector's mark and master's mark. Impressive silver oklad with cloisonné enamel decoration! An absolute collector's item! Minor chips to the wooden rim, cracks and flaking to the joints, nail holes in the nimbus. Provenance: Ex private collection H.L., Rhineland, since before 2000.
