Lentoid agate seal. Late Minoan - late Helladic, ca. 1600 - 1050 BC. ø 2.6cm. Made of red-brown-grey layered agate. Lentoid with vertical hole. Standing lion with head turned back, human figure standing behind the lion with outstretched arms, baseline, zigzag below. Published. Published: I. Pini (ed.), Corpus der Minoischen und Mykenischen Siegel (CMS) vol. X (1980) no. 135 (this copy). Cracked, bumped on both sides, engraving damaged.
