Pair of gold Phoenician hoop earrings with serpentine scroll seals. Levant, 5th - 4th century BC. 9g. ø hoop 1.6cm, L total 3.3cm and 4.3cm, H of the scroll seals 1.6cm. Gold hoops with grooved decoration and gold wire. Both seals made of black serpentine with Phoenician inscription. Inscriptions noted on enclosed note! Gold! Tiny losses, otherwise intact. Provenance: Ex private property G. S., Lower Saxony, in family possession since 1966.
