Jh. — In einer idyllischen Flusslandschaft versucht Venus ihren Geliebten Adonis von einer verhängnisvollen Jagd abzuhalten, bei der Adonis später von einem Eber getötet wird, in den sich der eifersüchtige Mars verwandelt hat und der schon in der Ferne zu sehen ist, unbeeindruckt vom Geschehen schläft der kleine Amorknabe zu ihren Füßen. Öl/Lwd., doubl. 113 x 92 cm. - Kleinere Bestoßungen am Rahmen, Flickstelle.
