AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE VASE, QING DYNASTY AN ARCHAISTIC BRONZE VASE, QING DYNASTY China, 1644-1912. The pear-shaped vase supported on a flat base, with a wide neck rising to an everted rim. The body with four pendent stiff leaves decorated with archaistic designs and key-fret bands, all beneath a raised band below the rim. The bronze is covered in a thick chocolate brown patina. Provenance: From an English private collection, and thence by descent in the same family. Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear, firing flaws, and few small nicks. Weight: 629.4 g Dimensions: Height 18.9 cm
