Wearing his typical leaf cloak tied at the waist, his belt suspending a double-gourd flask, the mouth of the immortal is opened in surprise revealing teeth, his brows raised, and his wide eyes inlaid with red horn pupils. Perfectly functional and generously excavated himotoshi to the back. HEIGHT 10.2 cm Condition: Extensive wear, singeing, natural age cracks, and the feet restored. Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Ferdinand and Dr. Gudrun Thaler-Szulyovsky, acquired from the above, and thence by descent in the same family.
