RADIGUET (Raymond). Œuvres complètes. Paris, Club des Libraires de France, 1959. Two vol. large in-8 grape, 506 pp. + 452 pp. paperback, folders and slipcase. Beautiful collective edition, partly original, designed by Pierre Faucheux and accompanied by 31 documents in various formats, printed separately on different papers, including 5 portraits of the author (by Picasso, J.-E. Blanche, J. Cocteau, R. de la Fresnaye and Valentine Hugo), 5 illustrations (by Juan Gris, Irène Lagut, Jean Hugo, Henri Laurens and Maurice de Vlaminck), 8 photographs, 2 printed documents, 8 autograph facsimiles, etc. 30 are mounted on tabs, the last document announced as "non broché", a reduced reproduction of N°2 of the magazine "Le Coq", is not the one originally planned (from the Jacques Doucet collection), but is also a facsimile of this famous n° (BnF ex.) including 2 poems by R.R. Limited and numbered edition. This is one of 280 ex. DE TÊTE reprinted on Arches laid paper. A fine copy (uncut, sewn but not glued) enriched with 4 photographic prints (portraits of Radiguet 1920-1923) and an AUTOGRAPHIC POEM (unsigned) by Raymond Radiguet "L'Enfant Grec", 1 p. in-4, slnd. The Manuscript begins with a quotation from Victor Hugo, then "La Grèce démobilise (Les Journaux)", the title "L'Enfant Grec" underlined and the poem itself of 22 lines "The child sat on the green hill / Whose imposing rump on the horizon dominates / The age-old city where the arts were born [...]". [...]".
