Terriers of the seigneuries of Sélore, LaBrosse and Puthière, located in the present-day département of Saône-et-Loire. -Manuscript signed in several places by royal notary Benoît Perrain, of Monceaux (now Montceaux-L'Étoile), 1662-1663, with supplement signed by royal notary Guillaume Joanin, of Semur-en-Brionnais, 1674. Approx. 290ff. in 3 parts, each with title illustrated with a framed drawing in color, all bound in an in-folio volume, stiff parchment, ribbed spine with title in ink, edges speckled red, traces of tabs at the beginning of each chapter (period binding). Prepared at the request of the local lord, Benoît-Palamède Baudinot, member of the Dijon parliament. -Manuscript signed in several places by royal notary Claude-Philibert Godin, of Chevenizet. 1734. Approx. 250ff. bound in an in-folio volume, marbled brown basane, ribbed spine, vestiges of leather binding; worn binding (period binding). Collection of acknowledgements of the seigneurial rights of Benoît-Palamède Baudinot's successor, Chevalier Antoine-Ignace Lenet, drawn up at the latter's request, preceded by an enumeration of the various estates concerned, which had come into his possession through successive inheritances. Provenance: Counts of Antioche (armorial bookplates).
