Artist information: German painter, graphic artist, illustrator, sculptor and porcelain painter (born 1940 in Wernigerode/Harz), 1951 moved to West Berlin, 1956-58 apprenticeship as window dresser and poster painter, 1959-60 studied at the Meisterschule für Kunsthandwerk Berlin, 1960-66 at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (HBK) Berlin under Karl Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger and Ulrich Knispel, 1964-66 master student of Prof. Hermann Bachmann, from 1966 onwards at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (HBK) Berlin under Karl Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger and Ulrich Knispel.
