NASA Apollo Astronaut Program: a collection of original signatures of the members, each on cutout paper, comprising: Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), Charles Conrad (1930-1999), Virgil 'Gus' Grissom (1926-1967), Willam 'Bill' Anders (1933-2024), Gordon Cooper (1927-2004), Ed White (1930-1967), Roger Bruce Chaffee (1935-1967) and Charles Conrad (1930-2012). [Grissom, White and Chaffee died together in a 1967 fire at Cape Kennedy]. The autographs are presented together with a typed note reading 'Thursday August 25th, 1966 Merrit Island, FL.' From the estate of the late Franz-Peter Bach, a German autograph collector of many years. He began collecting in the 1980s, from following music tours in Germany, as well as attending swap meets in Hanover, where as well as exchanging autographs, he was given addresses of celebrities, who he would then write to directly for signatures. His collection was meticulously collated, mostly in albums, and added to over many years. Authenticated prior to the sale by Adam Andrusier. Collated in a presentation album by Mr Bach, with tipped in photograph on opposing page. Following the sale, the autograph(s) will be removed and paired with the photograph, ready for collection / shipping.
