Large tumulus knife. Probably Moche, ca. 100 - 600 A.D. L 31cm. Bronze. Long bronze blade, the lower third in the shape of a tumi, the two upper thirds with embossed pattern, folded over and fixed, forming a thicker handle. A few small holes and cracks, otherwise intact, with acrylic stand. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, lot 483, 2023; ex private collection U.
