SPANISH CABINET, 19TH CENTURY. Box made with solid walnut wood boards with side handles and front lid fixed with iron hinges. The exterior with iron applications and the interior with carved architectural decoration, partly gilded, and with bone inlays, motifs typical of 17th century. Structure and shelves in pine wood. Organized in three registers. The lower register with a large central drawer flanked by a pair of superimposed drawers. The central register with a pair of superimposed drawers, flanked by the tall drawers and on the outside by drawers closed by the side doors. The upper register with four drawers of equal dimensions. Drawer fronts in walnut wood with applied, carved and gilded molded decoration. Metallic wrought iron and gilded fittings representing shells. Carved and openwork walnut wood buffet. It presents restorations, gilding, faults typical of use and restorations from a later period. 61 x 91 x 42 cm (cabinet); 85 x 74 x 51 cm (buffet). Reference bibliography: - Inventory number CE11152.
