SPECTACULAR PAIR OF LOUIS XVI LEVEL-HIGH FURNITURE in mahogany and Coromandel lacquer panels. They open with 2 doors surmounted by 2 drawers. The doors and drawers are embellished with Coromandel lacquer panels, as are the sides decorated with scenes of people in a palace and stylized animal motifs. The uprights are adorned with brass fluted columns, and the legs are topped with "toupies". Veined white marble top. Stamped by DELORME (not guaranteed). Reassembled with late 17th and early 18th century lacquer panels. W.135 D.43 H.123.
