A LOUIS XV all-sided flat desk in rosewood and violetwood veneer, framed with a pretty floral garland marquetry. The front and sides are curved. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes in the rocaille spirit. Covered in Havana leather (old condition) with brass moulding and bronze spandrels. Stamped LECLERE. Eighteenth century. W.131 D.68 H.79.
