Summer festival with the goddess Ceres in the center, surrounded by figures bringing her bundles of wheat, and a castle in the background. Ceres is the goddess of agriculture, harvest and fertility. Mid 18th century, Louis XV period. Size: 185 x 280 cm. (Beautiful polychromy, fairly good general condition, maintenance restorations)
