Important Indian RUG. Silk velvet on silk foundation. Cream field with original decoration of rows of palmettes and petals of stylized flowers and foliage in pastel tones. Triple borders, the main one beige, decorated with a thousand stylized flowers in the shape of burst diamonds, encircled by fine arcade-shaped stems. Circa 1975/80. Size: 480 x 314 cm.
