Bonheur du jour in rosewood veneer, violet wood and composite fillets. The top opens with two drawers and a curtain concealing a pigeonhole and four drawers. It rests on a base opening with a drawer and a pivoting top sheathed in brown leather on the reverse. The violet breche marble top is encircled by an openwork gallery molding. Gilt bronze ornamentation: lock escutcheons, drop rings, knobs, triglyph rings and set clogs. Paris. Late 19th century. Dimensions : 110 x 65.5 x 49 cm Expert : Stéphane Pépe.
