JOSEP PUJOL I MUNTANER, 20th century. "Ballerina". Glazed glazed ceramic. Signed and stamped on the back. Measurements: 34 x 16 x 11 cm. The tone, as well as the refined lines of the sculpture, are typical of the Art Deco style, which developed in Europe and the United States throughout the decade of the twenties. Josep Pujol i Muntaner designed for the ceramic brand Tamarit CMT a set of decorative animals that are characterized, like this seal, by their simple but forceful lines and bright tone.

Two Art Deco sculptures, ca. 1930-1940. "Bust of African woman" and "Ballerina". Patinated bronze. They show wear. Measurements: 19 x 15 x 6.5 cm (the largest). In the making of this slender dancer, Karl Hagenauer's style is evident: an essential and synthetic modeling typically Art Deco, but without avoiding naturalism. The same is true of the female face.
