MEXICO 1968. Official torch of the XIX Summer Olympic Games. Design by M. Villazon. A ring with the Olympiad logo is present around the top of the torch and the inscription "Mexico" on the lower part. Handle with wooden grip. The torch was carried from August 23 to October 12 by 2,778 torchbearers over 13,620 km. Made of iron. Height 53 cm. Torch type A.
