HELSINKI 1940 (annulé). Commemorative medal for the XII Summer Olympic Games. This medal was produced in 1939 to sponsor the Games. The minting was interrupted after the Russian invasion of Finland, as 2312 medals had already been produced. The remaining 1,338 were completed in 1947. Gilt bronze. Diameter 37 mm.
