Unpublished manuscript in Spanish, 318 pp. in fine, neat handwriting in black ink, in 14 paperback quires under 2 handwritten hardback covers. Engraved portrait of Napoleon III pasted after the title. Tito Visino (1810-1877) was a historian and minister for Spain in England, and at the same time frequented Napoleon during his stay at Chislehurst. He had known Napoleon since his youth in Germany, and this manuscript provides a wealth of information on the Emperor's private life throughout his lifetime, but especially on the events of 1870. An interesting account from a contemporary close to the Empire.
