In the history of Roman coinage the quinary, that is, the half denarius, has always played a marginal role being minted only occasionally and on special occasions. While quinari from the Republican age are almost all very common, they begin to become rare in the Imperial age until they become very rare in the third century. Probably quinari of the imperial age were related to donations from emperors so much so that very often Victory is found in the reverses. - SPL+

Antique reception Athena bowl Contemporary, chrome-plated cast metal, reception of a ceremonial bowl from the Roman imperial period (1st century BC to 1st century AD).), the original of which was found in Hildesheim in 1868 and is now on display in the Pergamon Museum on Berlin's Museum Island, ornamentally and florally decorated bowl on a small stand ring, handles to the sides, mirror with inset, almost fully sculpted relief of Athena with helmet and shield and shepherd's crook, next to her are the attributes owl and wreath on olive branches, good condition for its age, D with handles 32 cm.
