CAPRON Roger (1922-2006) - Assiette en faïence émaillée blanche à décor de frises tournantes jaunes, bleues et brunes. Signée "Capron Vallauris" sous la base. Circa 1955. Diamètre : 21 cm. Après avoir étudié à l'École des Arts décoratifs de Paris, Roger Capron rejoint Vallauris dans l'immédiat après-guerre. Il y crée l'atelier Callis avec ses amis Robert Picault et Jean Derval, avant d'ouvrir son propre atelier en 1948.
