Julius Paul Schmidt-Felling, Worker circa 1900, signed Schmidt-Felling on the plinth, brown patinated bronze, depicting a mechanic/locksmith in working clothes, with technical drawing, large spanner, cogwheel and rod, on a flat square plinth, mounted on a marble base with bevelled corners, patina somewhat rubbed in places, otherwise in good condition for its age, h bronze 43 cm, h total 51 cm. circa 1900, signed Schmidt-Felling on the plinth, brown patinated bronze, depicting a mechanic/locksmith in working clothes, with technical drawing, large spanner, cogwheel and rod, on a flat square plinth, mounted on a marble base with bevelled corners, patina somewhat rubbed in places, otherwise in good condition for its age, h bronze 43 cm, h total 51 cm. Artist information: Berlin sculptor (1835 Berlin to 1920), versatile sculptor about whose life little is known, created versatile sculptures of various themes, ranging from heroic fighters on horseback to athletes, blacksmiths and farmers to children in Dutch colonial style, sculptures were executed by the foundries Gladenbeck and Robert Kionsek Berlin.
