"2 cm. Rare; b) Typed version of the Olympic report: Rapport Officiel des Jeux de la VIIè Olympiade, Anvers 1920. 174 pages, 28.5x22. Left hand raised, the ancient athlete takes his oath... Laurels on his forehead, palm in his right hand, he is imposing. This plaque was still in use in 1936, as evidenced on the reverse by the words: ASCIB, champt Division 1, 1936. Perhaps soccer? 10X5.5. Joseph Witterwulghe (1883-1967) was a renowned Belgian artist, author of numerous sculptures and monuments, both funerary and otherwise.
