Terrace with four sphinx feet, decorated with palmette motifs on the belt (missing), engraved with the arms of the Thomas du Fossé de Bosmelet family supported by two unicorns. Container holder decorated with winged sphinxes. Goldsmith's hallmarks of Jean Joseph Amédée Blanchard and association des orfèvres 1 24 x 12 x Ht 31 cm. A.B.E. First Empire period, engraved during the Restoration. We thank Mr. Alban Pérès for his help in identifying the arms.
