MISTRAL Frédéric (1830-1914), félibre. Autograph letter signed from Maillane, September 6, 1877, to a friend about the Majoraux's golden cicadas. "As I do not have before me the precise number of cigales requested by the Majoraux on this side of the Pyrenees, I can only tell you this: I believe that 12 gold cigales would suffice at present. Not all poets are rich, and many will wait until they are before affording this jewel. Ask for twelve cicadas. Two pages in-4, in brown ink.
