Slightly curved blade à la Montmorency with broad fullers on both sides, inscribed 'Manuf.re R.ale de Chatellerault Septembre 1833' on the back. Non-ferrous metal knuckle-bow hilt with three bars and acceptance marks. Brown leather-covered grip wrapped in brass wire. Iron scabbard with two movable suspension rings, identical acceptance mark (347). Total length: 117 cm.
