Bavarian Landwehr composite crawler helmet. Black leather bomb, visor and chinstrap sewn to the bomb by a black leather bourdalou, flat scale chinstraps on leather settee, held to the helmet by two leonine mufles, black bearskin chenille. The bomb is reinforced with vertical brass rods, one of which is fitted with a pencil holder holding a ponceau-red carrot, with its black wolf-toothed leather interior. No Bavarian cockade.
