Squaw Valley 1960 Winter Olympics Official's Patch Embroidered color patch issued to officials at the Squaw Valley 1960 Winter Olympics, 4″ x 4.75″, with upper portion featuring the logo of the 8th Winter Olympiad, and the lower section reading in bold red thread: "Official." In fine condition, with some light staining. Unique in Olympic history, officials at the 1960 Winter Olympics wore these patches instead of metal badges, which was the only Games in which this took place.
