George Bernard Shaw Autograph Letter Signed ALS signed “G. Bernard Shaw,” penned on his personal 3.25 x 4.25, 4 Whitehall Court postal card, November 19, 1932. Handwritten letter, in full: “You might ask G. whether the batch of questions sent up after Laske’s lecture may be taken as samples of the quality of the Kingsway audiences. But he is right as to their requirements. The last things they want to be bothered with are facts. Facts hurt, mostly. I shall look through the book presently. Many thanks for sending it to me.” Double-matted and framed with a vintage portrait photo of Shaw to an overall size of 14.5 x 13.5; window to the frame backing reveals the reverse of postcard, which Shaw has addressed in his own hand. In fine condition.
