Howard McGrath, in full: “I am enclosing you a copy of a letter which I have just received from Bill O’Connor. He is the son of J. F. T. and a bright young man. I thought you would like to see his letter.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 14. In fine condition, with a rusty paperclip stain to the letterhead. Truman appointed McGrath Attorney General of the United States on August 24, 1949.
