Leaves, in illustrated filled cover, illustrated folder and slipcase. Perfect condition. Illustrated with 25 sanguine etchings by Hans Erni, including a frontispiece. Edition of 256 copies signed by the publishers and the artist, this one of 200 copies on Auvergne pur chiffon à la main du moulin Richard-de-Bas (N°115). The cover and slipcase are decorated with lithographs by the artist composed especially for this work. A very fine, pure work by Hans ERNI.

In-4 black calf, spine ribbed, gilt title, first board decorated with a large mosaic gilt bull's head, gilt head, in slipcase. The binding was created by artist Hans Erni for the publisher. 37 original lithographs in black and color. Edition of 1,530 copies; no. 987 of 1,220 on large Lana vellum, with an attractive ORIGINAL DRAWING (dove) in graphite with autograph signed letter from the artist to Lucien René.
