In-24 (10.5 x 6.3 cm), 24 ff. o.c., 84 pp. 8 ff. o.c., 145 pp. 3 pp. o.c., 12 ff. o.c., dark green morocco, triple gilt fillet on covers, smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets, tan title page, gilt edges (period binding). Almanach de Gotha for the year 1786, illustrated with a frontispiece, an engraved title, 4 plates of Paris hairstyles and clothes, including 16 captioned figures engraved by Chatelain, and 12 unsigned hors texte figures engraved in intaglio, inspired by Le Mariage de Figaro by Beaumarchais + folding table of the genealogy of the House of Saxony. Engraved heraldic bookplate "au pinçon et croissant de Lune" on upper flyleaf. Slightly rubbed and very rarely slightly foxed, otherwise a fine copy in contemporary green morocco.
