V. Deposée", mounted on a rectangular profiled red marble base, two corners and rear edge bumped, marble base mounted on bronze plate, h 105.5 cm, base dimensions 27.5 x 24 cm, weight 33.32 kg, collection or shipping only, Villanis trained at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin from 1871, then apprenticed to Odoardo Tabachhi (1831 - 1905), Villanis became known as an important Art Nouveau sculptor. 4347-0040
