Château de Marson swimming pool, elevation Watercolor on paper H. 65 cm - W. 66 cm This Mediterranean-inspired swimming pool was built in 1927 at the request of industrialist Henri Fircotelle, by architects Jacques-Maurice Prévot and Pierre-Victor Brunel, and the studio of mosaic artist Isidore Odorico. This Art Deco building was inspired by ancient spa architecture and by Hardouin-Mansart's hemicycle colonnade at Versailles. Provenance: private collection in Montreuil; given by one of the architects to a family member.
