Germany, 1st GM. 1871-84 bayonet with short gutter, type-approved "B. 6. R. R. 7. 209.". Handle with screwed wooden plates. All metal parts with small gray patina, stained in places. The guard received "B. 6. R. R. 7. 209." Manufacturer's marking on heel "V. C. SCHILLING SHUL" and on the back "L" under crown, "87" for 1887 and control stamp. Black bronzed steel scabbard, oxidized in places. 37.8 cm (Blade 25.2 cm). (In its original condition. Fairly good state of preservation).
