A Spanish military blunderbuss, dated 1838 round barrel, length 47.5 cm, with some pitting. Bell-shaped muzzle, diameter 41 mm. Spanish military-style flintlock, brass flashpan, corroded surface with barely legible maker's mark under crown and year "1838". Various acceptance marks "M/Crown" on small parts. Trigger guard and side plate of brass, other furniture of iron. Reworked walnut stock with some light cracks. Hinged iron ramrod. Mechanically sound. Rifle not disassembled. Length circa 85 cm. Condition: III
