Scattered brown spots affecting the plates only slightly, more accentuated on pages 55 to 62. Bound in contemporary half-brown calf, covers and corners worn. Provenance: handwritten letter from the author to the architect [Louis Edme] Courtépée; all the corrections indicated in the errata have been transferred by hand and the errata crossed out, probably by the author himself Remarkable didactic work, the first of its kind, it gives all the plans for the construction of a house (which also appears in Krafft's collection). Every stage, from excavation to finishing the kitchen and toilets, is abundantly illustrated. The text includes all the necessary explanations, as well as a very interesting list of the native plants that could grace the garden of this house. See n°26
