A German flintlock shotgun, circa 1780 Octagonal and faceted barrel merging to round after a baluster, smooth bore in 18 mm caliber. Smooth flintlock, lock action defective. Half stock with horn nose cap. Wooden trigger guard and stock extension. Wooden ramrod with wooden tip. Iron parts reworked and pitted in places, signs of age and use. Length 133 cm. Condition: III
