An Austrian sabre for non-commissioned officers of the infantry (Prima Plana), 2nd half of the 18th century Curved single-edged blade (somewhat stained) with fullers on both sides and a point in the back line. Multi-piece brass knuckle-bow hilt (4 mm cast nick on the quillons), grip back with pommel cap in the shape of a lion's head, leather-covered grip without wire winding. Leather-covered scabbard (replaced) over a wooden core with smooth brass mountings. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Length 82 cm. Condition: II
