A British small sword, circa 1820 Slender triangular blade with finely etched vine and ribbon decoration in the upper third. Etched dedication inscription on the obverse side with the date "Henry.A.Paxton from Augusts.J.W.Northey. March 17". Hilt set with steel beads over the entire surface, the obverse side with a broad shell-shaped guard. The knucklebow with a small repair, faceted urn pommel. Length 95 cm. Condition: II
