A Polish or German lobster tail helmet, 3rd quarter of the 17th century Two-piece skull, attached forehead reinforcement, small modern repair to the side. The pointed peak with turned under rim and struck 19th century arsenal mark "II.J". Movable nasal with adjusting screw and repeated struck mark. Attached perforated cheek pieces, the leathering replaced. Neck guard made in one piece with turned under rim and feigned attachments. Remains of the old leather lining inside. Height approx. 30 cm. Condition: II -
