Hubert Kaplan (born 1940) - Pasture at the Tegernsee, Munich, 2nd half of the 20th century Oil on canvas on wood. Very finely painted depiction of a sunny autumnal day on a hill above the Tegernsee. In the foreground, two farmers are talking amidst their grazing herd of cattle. Signed "Hubert Kaplan" lower right. In a barely bumped profile frame with stucco vine decoration. Image dimensions 15 x 30, dimensions with frame 28 x 43 cm. Hubert Kaplan was born in Munich in 1940 and studied at the Munich Academy of Art, where he painted landscapes inspired by the Old Munich School. In 1981 he won first place in the competition "Bayerische Maler malen Bayern". Condition: I - II
