Carloni/Original drawing illustrating a warrior troll. Beautifully executed. India ink and watercolor. Very rare. Signed and dated 2018. TBE+. Format A4 Stefano Carloni (1988) is an Italian cartoonist who made his debut in comics drawing "Sinclair" for Editions Paquet on a script by Bollée. He worked on the "Les Savants" Soleil éditions series, on a script by Blengino: two volumes published between 2015 and 2016. He then drew "Clemenceau", on a script by Dély, released by Glénat éditions in the "Ils ont fait l'histoire" collection. He also took part in the collective project "Méchants - Les grandes figures du mal au cinéma et dans la pop culture" by Dobbs, published by Hachette Heroes. In 2017, he designed the second volume of "Nouveau Monde" (Dargaud), a story by François Armanet and Jean Helpert. In 2018, he drew "Léon le Grand: défier Attila" for the "Un Pape dans l'Histoire" collection, published by Glénat. In 2019, Dargaud entrusted him with the revival of the Redbeard series, created in 1959 by Jean-Michel Charlier and Vicor Hubinon, based on texts by Jean-Charles Kraehn. The series was a great success, with 3 volumes published. He teaches at ACCA Academy in Jesi.
