Nikolai Tregor, "Stierfrau" 1994, monogrammed N.T., cast bronze with dark patina, female nude torso in a shamefaced pose, head turned to the side, on a small flat plinth, mounted on a marble base, partially very slightly rubbed, otherwise in good condition, h bronze 16 cm, h overall 24.5 cm. Enclosed confirmation of ownership, signed by the artist, as well as book by J. Hell and M. Matjeka, Der Bildhauer Nikolai Tregor, Epsilon Forum III, sculpture described there and illustrated on p. 63. Artist information: Sculptor and medallist (1946 Zug/Switzerland), learnt bronze casting at Brießmann & Bauer in Munich, worked as an artisan, opened his own foundry in 1963, worked freelance in Munich, known for precise castings in lost wax and sand casting techniques, travelled America, known for expressive portrait busts and erotic works.
